Everyone is pleased to see life is getting back to how it was, whilst there may be occasionally ADI’s & Examiners continuing to wear masks during lessons & tests, for their own personal reasons. If you are spending time in the car with them, please consider also wearing a mask, out of respect.
Vehicles will continue to be ventilated & ADI’s can once again sit the vehicle during a pupil's test.
There is still a high demand for services from the DVSA, including Theory Test Appointments & Practical Driving Tests. Sadly there is also occasional cancellations, please ensure you check your emails (including junk mail) from the DVSA for any notifications of test changes.
Theory Test - it is highly recommended that candidates ensure they have studied, learnt & understood all of the possible theory test questions that could be included in the theory test. The question bank used changes on a regular basis.
Practical Test - the DVSA has launched a new website to assist candidates to understand what is required of them on test & how to assess for themselves when they are ‘Ready for Test?’. Please take a look at it.
Both of the above will save a pupil heartache & money in these challenging times. They will also reduce the waiting lists, as the first-time success rate will increase.
We are enjoying being able to meet face to face once again & have guest speakers. Any prospective new members are welcome to join us at any of our regular meetings.
The guest speakers in October 2022 gave a very informative presentation on both the Standards Check & the Ready to Pass campaign. Our thanks go to David Fenton & Mike Jones from DVSA for their time.
